A kindle just can’t compare.
Oh, beware! To books I’m sworn.

balloons, a martini,

Muscles limp, my breathing slows.
One more sip, I start to doze.

This week, this month, this moment will fly by.
Unexpected rain may spill;
just as fast, it rolls downhill.
